Are you experiencing cracks inside your home in the drywall? Sagging and bouncing floors? Doors that don’t open and close properly? Then that means that your home is experiencing settling issues in your floor joists and/or main beams. This is a very common issue whether your home is older or even newer.
The reasons for these issues are due to:
If you are experiencing any of these issues, contact us to schedule your free inspection to let you know exactly where the settlement has occurred, why it has occurred, and how to fix the settlement issues.
If you want to lift back your floors, not deal with the cracks within the inside of your home, not deal with your bouncy floors, and be able to close your doors again, the only way to properly correct, lift, and stabilize the areas of settlement inside your home is to have these post jack supports installed in the specific areas needed. Although, before you have any floor supports installed, be sure you do not have any wood rot in your floor joists or main beam girders.
We at Tiger C do not recommend you any services that are only temporary, we provide solutions that will last a very long time and that are worth the investment. In crawl spaces we often find wooden supports just sitting on top of the dirt in an attempt to “support” areas of settlement. Though they may be helping a little, these supports will eventually be useless because they will lose the pressure over time. That is why steel post jacks or cinder block piers with a concrete footer need to be placed to properly support the specific areas needed so you do not have to worry about further settlement or redoing any supports that were not done right the first time.
We’ll use the latest techniques and equipment to inspect your crawl space and provide the best solution.
After the inspection, our experts will consult with you about the best solution for your crawl space.
Once we’ve completed our work, we’ll clean up the area and make sure it’s a safe and comfortable place for you to use again.
